Since 2007 Dance Parade New York has brought together dancers from all walks of life to celebrate all forms of dance-- everything from African to zydeco, belly to breakdance and salsa to swing. Its increasing success shows that Dance Parade can and should grow to be a positive force and energetic expression of our diverse dance communities. We are now expanding the team that will drive Dance Parade’s tremendous growth into a City institution in our fifth and most fabulous year!

We seek capable and passionate Marketing professionals to craft Dance Parade’s public image and message in a leadership capacity. The most successful candidate will develop and nourish marketing barter relationships that allow DP to expose our events to the masses.  S/He will generate and manage DP’s branding on dance industry websites, advertisements and promotional material.  Rewards include experience as an officer of a highly successful not-for-profit organization, exposure and relationships with many of New York City’s dance businesses and communities, and possible performance-based financial compensation dependent upon achievement of development milestones.

The most ideal candidates will have:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong social networking ability and affinity
- Marketing experience (one or more of advertising, graphic design, publicity, website, direct and/or viral marketing)
- Leadership and team-building skills
- Powerful drive and motivation
- Great attitude and Passion for Dance!!!!
