Xi Zhu is an enthusiastic dancer and has been learning and practicing for years. While at the University of Florida, she performed for the annual showcase of the biggest on-campus dance group, Dancin Gators and also on the stage of annual Spring Festivals there. Before this, she danced ballroom-style and won third place in the citywide ballroom dance competition in Chongqing, China. She has been receiving professional ballet training for over three years. She is active with the Chinese dance community in New York through Dance Parade, a New York city non-profit organization.
